Sweat the T-shirt / Feel the colors

On June 28th, Gestolasa held an outdoor and teambuilding session at the Santo Domingo Social Club, near San Agustín de Guadalix.

This unique environment and several references to the Azuqueca Sports Club allowed us to give a sporting approach to this concentration, which served as a turning point and as a kick off of the new corporate image of Gestolasa and the launch of the “gestolasa@voluciona” project, an ambitious updating project that pivots on three areas: people and internal processes, the strategy and design of new products, and technological updating that, together, will help Gestolasa to reposition itself and continue growing.

The image is also going to have an important change. When talking about image it is important to differentiate two things, the image we perceive of ourselves and the one we project to the outside and, although both are equally important, they rarely coincide. That is why from time to time it is important to stop, analyze the market, the competition and adapt.

During the session, we worked on a model of personality typologies known as DISC. In this work methodology, each personality type is identified with one of the four colors used in this technique and that has unique features. People of each type relate to others in different ways and by knowing our colleagues, we will be able to adjust our communication to improve our environment and promote teamwork.

This same philosophy is applicable to Gestolasa’s new corporate image. The market has changed, and although at no time do we consider discarding the past and denying our origins, it is necessary to present ourselves again to the market, and to the media in our best clothes. We must project outwardly the greatness that we perceive internally and that, sometimes, we can take for granted.

How can we do that? Embracing positive change always helps. We must rely on our strengths (experience, team, professionalism…), adjust our clothing to current trends and sweat our shirts.

Nowadays, especially for online communication, pastel shades are a trend. Letters with vintage reminiscence, but updated, are the best valued and three-dimensional images were outdated and replaced by flat and simple logos that convey a message.

In our case, the message is clear: We are still Gestolasa and our triangle, renewed, incorporates our four areas of work. We grow with the reflection of Psicotec, which also has four lines of business, and we complement each other to offer the market our best version.

Because together, we are going to go further.
