Psicotec organizes SID 3.0: a new approach to global solutions for people management

On Tuesday, March 15, the headquarters of Plus Ultra Seguros in Madrid welcomed the attendees of the SID 3.0 event: a new approach to global solutions for people management.

The conference, which was a great success, was organized by Psicotec with the collaboration of RRHH Digital as the official media, Solán de Cabras as water and official soft drinks and Selecta, which offered attendees breakfast during the break. In addition, Viesgo, Famosa, EMC2, Orange, BQ, Cabify and Mahou – San Miguel participated in the presentations.

The opening was marked by the inaugural talk by the General Director of Psicotec, María Luisa Riobóo, who recorded in her speech the changes that organizations and, specifically, the management of their human resources departments have experienced, the evolution of new technologies, which has led to the appearance of new tools for attracting talent, the need to integrate the different generations that currently coexist in the world of work and even those to come and, in short, the importance for organizations to ensure good practices in people management.

Next, Javier Temboury, HR Director of Viesgo, Carlos Fernández Gordo, HR Director of EMC2 and Antonio Fernández Aguado, HR Director of Famosa each presented a success story related to the three key aspects in people management: Selection, Merger and Integration and Development.

The dynamic, based on small talks on these topics, left several conclusions. We can highlight the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility, as a new form of skills development, or how new technologies have created new ways of working, with the emergence of new profiles and new recruitment tools. As Fernández Aguado said, “Every business is already a digital business”.

The event ended with a round table in which some human resources managers from the most cutting-edge companies of the moment participated, together with Carmen Rodríguez, Director of Selection and Evaluation at Psicotec: Cabify, Grupo Mahou San Miguel, Orange España and BQ.

The debate was moderated by Ana Toro, Editor-in-Chief of Digital HR, who challenged the guests to address current and important issues such as new trends in selection and recruitment 3.0, the importance of the use of social networks in human resources, employer branding, generational diversity, leadership or skills development, among others.

Their interventions, together with questions from the audience, showed the importance of attending this type of event and discussing the trends demanded by the market and organizations.
