Psicotec, member of the Technical Committee for Standardisation CTN 314 of UNE

Psicotec is a member of the Technical Committee for Standardization CTN 314 of the Spanish Association for Standardization UNE, for Human Resources Management and attended its last meeting on June 23 in Madrid.

Also part of this Committee are Cegos, the General Council of Official Colleges of Psychologists, Humanide, IAT, Oracle Ibérica, PMM Business School, Tirme, Delvalle, FCC and ADIF. Technical standards are developed with the participation and consensus of all stakeholders.

After the meeting, the interest and good health of the Committee became clear, and it is currently in the process of adopting six international standards to the Spanish catalogue of standards and of developing two at the national level.

The ISO standards on which work is being done are 30400:2016 “HR Management. Vocabulary”, 30405:2016 “HR Management. Hiring Guide”, 30408:2016 “HR Management. Guide to People Governance” and 30409:2016 “HR Management. Workforce planning”.

In parallel, the Committee is working on the national adoption of the standards on Sustainable employability management for organizations and Cost-per-hire, published by ISO in 2017.

This forum has been set up within UNE as the entity responsible for the development of technical standards in Spain. Founded at the end of 2015, it meets four times a year and aims for Spanish professionals to discuss issues of interest to the sector and develop Spanish technical standards that improve their competitiveness. In addition, it seeks to ensure that Spanish experts in people management can influence international standards through their representation in the ISO/TC 260 International Committee “Human Resource Management”, of which 50 countries around the world are already members.

If any organisation or professional is interested in being part of this initiative, they can contact the UNE Secretariat at the following email: normalizacion@une.org
