The world of Talent and Human Resources consulting is international, global. It has no borders and no limits. Just as our customers are constantly evolving and changing, we must.
More than 10 years ago, back in 2006, Psicotec opened its first office outside Spain. We began our internationalization process with Portugal, our unknown neighbor, and since then the Lisbon office has not stopped growing. Today it has more than 50 clients, promotes our Iberization strategy and is positioning itself as the spearhead of one of our most cutting-edge projects: the IT Profile Selection Hub.
After Portugal it was the turn of Latin America: Peru, Colombia and Chile. The linguistic proximity and the great growth prospects of these markets led us to “cross the pond”. Adaptation is never easy but it is necessary: while in Europe the most demanded service by our clients had always been the National Team, in Latin America the importance of Consulting stands out. Studies of work environment, remuneration, workloads… a completely different reality, but one that needed to be understood.
And fortunately we understood it. For a long time, our international strategy allowed us to weather the crisis in Europe. While Spain was on the front pages of half the world (and not precisely because of its beaches), Latin American economies were experiencing a kind of golden decade that directly affected our sector. Our teams grew and increased their customer base, turnover and sales.
But as we all know, the economy has its cycles and we must try to anticipate them. While Spain and Portugal began to recover, Latin America slowed down its growth rates. The new reality required a new, more proactive and more ambitious commercial strategy in order to recover the group’s previous profitability.
Psicotec’s new international approach is based on three pillars:
– Boosting commercial
acquisition- Development of loyalty and retention of accounts
– Profitability of the group, the centres and the accounts
Considering these three principles and with an eye on the Future, several measures have been taken to reorganize the international business, especially for the LATAM region, such as the closure of the Chile office, the change of Management of the Lima office and the incorporation of Daniel Orizales as the new Head of Business Development LATAM, which in the medium term will bring together Psicotec’s operations at the Latam Region level. All this for Psicotec in Latin America to be a true regional operator.
These are changes that are due to a single reason: to relaunch the operations of our offices in Latin America.
We want to offer a comprehensive range of Human Resources solutions with a clear differential value: the quality of the service; Of course, we continue to bet on internationalization, which has proven to be one of our competitive advantages in the past. We are aware that the future of Human Resources lies in large companies that, by specialising in their core business, are able to make the leap in size and presence.
For this reason, the Psicotec-Gestolasa Alliance plays a leading role in this strategy. Now we are able to offer any Human Resources solution, from the Search for Talent to its Disengagement. The next step is to be able to offer it anywhere.
In the not too distant future, through the International Network of Psicotec Offices we will be able to attract business for Gestolasa, and vice versa.
