{"id":3918,"date":"2025-05-26T18:45:15","date_gmt":"2025-05-26T18:45:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev.psicotec.com\/?p=3918"},"modified":"2025-05-26T18:45:15","modified_gmt":"2025-05-26T18:45:15","slug":"psicotec-carries-out-assessment-centers-for-security-forces","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.psicotec.com\/en\/psicotec-carries-out-assessment-centers-for-security-forces\/","title":{"rendered":"Psicotec carries out Assessment Centers for Security Forces"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Throughout the month of December, Psicotec Barcelona has been in charge of carrying out <strong>Assessment Centers for the evaluation of security forces, with a total of 250 participants.<\/strong> The candidates, through the different tests, have applied for internal promotion positions within the organization. The competencies have been evaluated through different activities and tests with the aim of assessing the suitability of the applicants in the functions of the positions of the corps. <\/p>\n<p>Among the different exercises, <strong>psychometric, situational, group dynamics or role playing tests<\/strong> have been carried out. These have had the purpose of placing the applicant in a situation in which to put into practice behaviours related to the defined competences. On the other hand, a <strong>competency interview<\/strong> has been carried out, where behaviors and situations that the applicant has carried out throughout their work career are evaluated. With the aim of guiding the different professionals, the applicants have also carried out a <strong>competence self-report questionnaire<\/strong> and a <strong>motivation report.<\/strong>  <\/p>\n<p>All the tests and instruments used in this project have been <strong>custom-designed<\/strong> for the organization. Among them, cases have been created <strong>for group tests, role plays, presentation exercises and situational tests,<\/strong> among others. The leveling of behaviors, observation sheets and record of exercises and dynamics have also been developed, as well as the training of the members of the participating tribunal. The process as a whole has been rigorously designed to <strong>guarantee the objectivity, fairness and standardization of the process, ensuring that the results obtained meet the highest required standards.<\/strong>   <\/p>\n<p>The professionals in charge of the competency assessment have been <strong>specialised psychologists<\/strong> and <strong>members of the organisation of the group of security forces.<\/strong> These two groups have been responsible for evaluating the selected competencies, which have varied depending on the position to which they applied and the functions of the different positions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Throughout the month of December, Psicotec Barcelona has been in charge of carrying out Assessment Centers for the evaluation of security forces, with a total of 250 participants.
