Psicotec maintains a close link with the Public Administrations at a national level for evaluation in selection and promotion processes. These evaluations are tailored to each project and can include everything from the application of psychometric tests to interviews, or the management of processes at a comprehensive level. <\/p>\n
This year, Psicotec<\/strong> has been selected to carry out the evaluations for access to the basic scale and the realization of Assessment Centers for promotion to command positions in a recognized Security Corps in Catalonia.<\/p>\n The execution of the first phase of this project has involved the evaluation of the competencies of more than 500 participants in two calls made during the first semester. The evaluation methodology used in a first call has been the STAR<\/strong> technique of competency evaluation, a system of structured interviews based on the behaviors shown by the candidate in past situations to evidence the level of competencies achieved, complemented with standardized and leveled behavioral observation guidelines. <\/p>\n In a second call, and with the aim of neutralizing the impact of the agencies preparing for competitions, the evaluation approach was modified. A standardized case study design was implemented, with different leveled versions, testing the capacity for analysis, communication, persuasion, decision-making and the ability to face highly complex situations. <\/p>\n The Case Study<\/strong> involves the description of a real-life event or simulated situation that presents a series of conditions and instructions and that involves making a set of reasoned decisions by the participant.<\/p>\n This project has required a standardized execution by the team of evaluators, which in this case has involved the participation of more than 10 evaluators simultaneously, all of them senior professionals, graduates in Psychology and collegiate, in order to provide the guarantees required by the evaluation in Security Forces and the Public Administration.<\/p>\n Psicotec’s increasingly close collaboration with Public Administrations is a clear example of our commitment to quality and flexibility in our solutions, which is supported by ISO 10667<\/strong> certification.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Psicotec maintains a close link with the Public Administrations at a national level for evaluation in selection and promotion processes.
