{"id":3797,"date":"2025-05-26T18:45:35","date_gmt":"2025-05-26T18:45:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev.psicotec.com\/?p=3797"},"modified":"2025-05-26T18:45:35","modified_gmt":"2025-05-26T18:45:35","slug":"psicotec-carries-out-the-implicads-project-for-emc2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.psicotec.com\/en\/psicotec-carries-out-the-implicads-project-for-emc2\/","title":{"rendered":"Psicotec carries out the Implicad@s Project for EMC2"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>It is a programme for the development of skills through face-to-face workshops and corporate volunteering activities.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During 2015 and in view of possible changes in the business, EMC2 decided to develop an action that would provide tools to the groups in its areas of the Services and Customer Service Department, in order to overcome resistance to change and be able to face it in a more positive way.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This is how Implicad@s was born, a skills development program through face-to-face workshops and corporate volunteering activities that would allow them, in addition to improving their engagement (and, therefore, getting more involved in the needs of the business), to face realities very different from their own in which they could value skills such as flexibility,  adaptation and change management.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The program began with a face-to-face workshop on change management and a group coaching session for a total of 40 people divided into two groups and based on the identification, exploration and application of the strengths of each of the participants. Once finished, there was individual accompaniment to make improvement plans. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Subsequently, a corporate volunteering activity was carried out in which 13 EMC2 volunteers participated, divided into two groups, in the Madrid III men&#8217;s prison, Valdemoro. The activity consisted of two workshops on skills for employment aimed at 21 inmates of the penitentiary. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The assessment of the action, both by the inmates and by the volunteers, was very positive. In both cases they considered it to be of a high degree of usefulness, being for the interns an opportunity to receive training that facilitates the search for employment and allows them to learn more about the world of business. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Some of the skills that were valued were management and adaptation to change, teamwork and innovation. The use of these skills in a prison environment, combined with proper guidance, accompaniment and reflection, reinforced the learning of the desired skills. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThe Implicad@s project has been a very enriching and rewarding experience for all the volunteers, as it has allowed them to have contact and get to know first-hand an environment and a group very different from their usual relationships,\u201d says Vanessa Hernanz, Director of Training and Development at Psicotec. \u201cAlthough at first doubts arose among the volunteers about the reception that the program was going to have and the impact it was going to have on the recipients, all of them faced the first meeting with great passion, resulting in all the inmates repeating in the next session,\u201d adds Hernanz. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In conclusion, we can say that the program has been a success in every way, since each of the volunteers was able to value their strengths in order to face the changes and develop their areas for improvement.
