On November 20, a high-level online roundtable was held that brought together more than 50 attendees from around the world to reflect on the challenges and trends in the field of Executive Search. Entitled \u201cToday’s Executive Search General Overview: Trends and Challenges\u201d, the event was organized by Psicotec and featured the participation of prominent leaders in the sector, offering a global vision of the key aspects that are defining and transforming this specialty. <\/p>\n

A panel of international experts<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The session was moderated by Rodrigo Perales, Marketing Director of Psicotec, and had three international leaders as speakers:<\/p>\n

The attendees, from countries as diverse as Spain, Germany, South Africa, the United States, Mexico, Portugal and Peru, were able to enjoy a dynamic and enriching conversation that was structured in two main blocks: the key aspects to consider when carrying out any Executive Search project and the main challenges and trends facing the sector and that will mark its evolution in the coming years.<\/p>\n

Key aspects in international Executive Search projects<\/strong><\/h2>\n

One of the main axes of the discussion was the analysis of the critical aspects that must be taken into account when addressing Executive Search projects, especially those that are developed in an international context. The experts stressed that the success of these processes depends on: <\/p>\n

  1. Experience and specialization<\/strong>: Having a company specialized in Executive Search provides differential value, especially in global environments where cultural nuances and market dynamics vary significantly.<\/li>\n
  2. The quality and rigor of the service<\/strong>: From the identification of talent to the evaluation (Assessment) of candidates, excellence at each stage of the process is essential to guarantee the optimal fit between the candidate and the organization.<\/li>\n
  3. Confidentiality<\/strong>: In this field, more than 80% of the people who participate in these processes are not actively looking for a new project. For this reason, confidentiality is a particularly relevant aspect and not only the success or otherwise of the project will depend on it, but also the reputation of the parties involved. <\/li>\n
  4. The integration of new technologies<\/strong>: The ability to use advanced technological tools and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to streamline and make selection processes more flexible is increasingly relevant, but all in a balanced way, ensuring human and personalized treatment.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Search for a Financial Manager in South Africa<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    \"ExecutiveOur client, a Spanish multinational company in the industrial sector, specialized in solutions for supply, sanitation and building, working for more than 30 countries, was looking to incorporate a professional with a direct report to the CFO of the Group (in Spain) and who would operate on a day-to-day basis with the Director of the Plant in South Africa and the Commercial Operations team.
    \nThe mission of the position was to be responsible for the Financial Department and financial strategy of the company, control economic resources and contribute to the development of solid financial strategies aimed at the growth and profitability of the company.
    \nDuring the executive search process, fluid communication was maintained between the client and our partner in South Africa and, two months later, a professional was incorporated who faithfully responded to the specifications of the profile.
    \nBoth the client, Psicotec and the local partner are very satisfied with the development of the process and we are carrying out monthly follow-ups of their professional situation and family environment in the area to facilitate the bonding and consolidation in the position.<\/p>\n

    Search for Buisiness Developer in Dubai (UAE)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    This is a very recent project, so much so that we are still working on it. It is a Spanish multinational, also in the industrial sector, with a commercial activity very focused on Public Administration, factories in 3 countries and marketing in more than 15.
    \n\"ExecutiveThe client told us about the need to incorporate a Business Developer in Dubai. It is an area that had already been worked commercially with a Spanish professional and that, coinciding with the promotion of this person, they are thinking of incorporating someone who has worked in the country for at least 8 years and knows the cultural particularities and ways of doing business in the country.
    \nSeveral meetings were established to approach the need between the customer and the local partner. After formalizing the collaboration, the search work began 3 weeks ago and, to date, the company has had the opportunity to meet 2 professionals who respond to the profile and in the next few days it will interview two new potential candidates.
    \nWe are sure that it will be a new successful collaboration, given the professionalism of our partner in Dubai and the partnership relationship that has been established between them and our client. <\/p>\n
