Mentor was the man in which Ulysses trusted not only for educating his son Telemachus, but also for taking care of his home. From then on, he became a guide, confident and travel partner when the young Telemachus looked for his father. It was far more than a care provider and soon became a key person in the development and growth of the young Telemachus.

Mentoring is one of the most useful tools for developing and bounding talent in organizations. Nevertheless, it is a great unknown and it tends to arouse many doubts.

This technique is aimed to optimize the transfer of values, knowledge, skills and business style to all the people that are part of an organization. It is conceived to help others in their development, establishing fluid and transparent communication channels.

Psicotec “is committed to make this Mentoring process a factor for creating collaborative environments and not only one-way processes. Psicotec is aware of the importance of Talent Development and it is committed to ease the access mentoring processes. This is the reason why it has launched along with its IT partner a solution which helps to implant and measure information in Mentoring processes in an easy and accessible way: Psicotec Mentor&Talent.

This program can be divided in three main and complementary parts:

  • Previous Consultancy: It analyzes the project and collaborates with the Company to set the objectives, scope and needed resources for the implementation and following-up of the Mentoring process.
  • Mentors’ training: support them to count on the needed tools for conveying their knowledge in an efficient way and thus being able to guide the mentee.
  • Technological platform: One of the most complicated aspects of the effective implant of Mentoring in organizations is the follow-up and control of the processes. In order to make it easier, Psicotec has created a technological platform which allows the mentor and the mentee to organize them in an autonomous way. It also allows the match of both of them regarding their strengths, with the objective of matching know-how and know-who.

This new service has its origins in an existing market demand. It will allow each organization which has an interest in implementing a simple, accessible and innovative mentoring program to do it counting on one of the biggest specialists in talent: Psicotec.
